It always saddens me greatly whenever I hear of an artist’s suicide. So much pain. Darkness. No joy in anything. I hear many people who have never experienced depression criticize why and how they could have done such a selfish act. We need to be careful of these criticisms especially since we’ve never walked a mile in the afflicted’s shoes. Offer those affected by these tragic deaths words of comfort instead. Have some compassion, folks.
